As it is tradition, the 2014 conference closed with a choice of guided tours.
From delegates’ feedback “The Brutalist architecture tour with Felipe was excellent.”
Here are some pictures of the Wren Tour (from Carla Marchesan):
- 1) Wren library staircase formerly providing the main entrance to the library, no longer accessible to the public. 2) Trinity College Courtyard. 3) Partial outside view of the Wren Library, in the background, from the courtyard.

If there was one conclusion that almost all presentations ended with, was that well designed and built libraries are important, but what really makes a library is the people that work in it.
